WE'RE BANANAS FOR PEANUT BUTTER SMOOTHIES
As we start gearing up for Spring and with Summer right around the corner we feel the need to keep on pushing forward in our quest for health and balance. Being and feeling healthy are two important components to having overall balance for a healthy lifestyle. As such we like to start out our mornings with a refreshing smoothie. Currently we are loving the Sunfoods brand of Organic Chocolate Superfood Smoothie Mix. Check out our favorite Peanut Butter and Banana blend below. We hope this will help your morning will run a little smoother!
PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA SMOOTHIE
3 tbsp Chocolate Smoothie Mix (we like Sunfoods brand of Organic Chocolate Superfood Smoothie Mix)
1 frozen or fresh banana (sliced)
1/4 cup frozen berries (you can add less or more depending on how thick you want your smoothie)
3/4 cups Almond milk
3 tbsp Peanut Butter
2 tsp dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
1 tsp Honey (you can add less or more depending on how sweet you like your smoothie)
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth and bam! You have a healthy breakfast or a mid-day snack in a cup ready go! Let us know what you think?
